HIKING AND CYCLING TRAILS

Prescott and Russell Recreational trail
imageAre you ready for a cycling trip? Welcome to the Prescott and Russell Recreational trail, where you’ll find 72 km of country clean air and a peaceful environment. Built on a converted railway, the soft landscape is easily accessible to all cyclists. The surface of the trail is stone dust, except for 4 paved sections of 2 km near the villages of: Vankleek Hill (Highway 34), Plantagenet, Bourget and St-Eugène. This surface allows for the safe practice of rollerblades. Free.
Four convenient access points to the trail are located (east to west) in Hammond, Bourget, Plantagenet, Vankleek Hill and St-Eugène. You will find free parking, picnic tables, an information stand and toilets. The trail is indicated on the Prescott and Russell map, available at local businesses and by ordering on line.

See Recreational Trails for more information on the trails.
