A landowner or agent who wishes to create several lots in an urban, community-based or rural area may submit an application for a plan of subdivision.
They may also submit an application for a condominium plan to develop a group of dwelling units on the same lot or to convert an existing building.
In both cases, it is strongly recommended to consult with your local municipality’s planning department and with the United Counties before submitting an application along with the applicable fees. You must allow 120 days for a completed application to be processed. You may download the following application form for an approval of a plan of subdivision or a condominium plan.
