The Financial Statements are prepared by the Department of Finance and are submitted to independant auditors for verification. These documents present the financial situation of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell Corporation for a given period.

Remuneration of Council Members
The Council Members are remunerated for their presence to meetings of the Committee of the Whole and any other committee falling under the Council. Travel and / or meal expenses are only refunded if and when the members must attend meetings for other organizations on behalf of the Council or in carrying out their duties.

The Financial Information Return presents the information required by the Province of Ontario under the Municipal Act. Disclosed in this return are the revenues, expenditures, reserves, fixed assets, taxation information, long term liabilities / commitments and performance measures.
