280px-Voyageur Park copy copy copyProvincial Park Le Voyageur- This park was named in memory of the passage of travelers going up the Ottawa River during their explorations and for trading. Along the Ottawa River, this park is one of the most important natural attractions of Eastern Ontario. Moreover, it is located near the site of the Battle of Long Sault who opposed the French, Dollard des Ormeaux and 17 young French with the help of 44 Indians against 700 Iroquois. Today, the site of the battle is under the river.
