I am very pleased to represent the Counties as Warden this year and on behalf of all members of Council, I invite you to browse our web site and learn more about our great area. As County Warden, I will make good use of my three rules, listening to people, be fair and do the best I can. We will continue discussions to widen Highway 17, decrease the gap on high speed Internet throughout our Counties and promote the 2011 International Plowing Match.
The Corporation of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell is a regional government that manages programs and offers services to its 83,000 residents. Prescott and Russell encompasses eight municipalities and covers 2,002 km2. The Counties conduct its business in both official languages.
